Between sunrise over the Caribbean and a night sky fille d with the same brilliant stars that inspired the Mayans, there was plenty of time to savor the fare at one of the four exceptional restaurants of The Fairmont Mayakoba.

On our arrival day, we had a nice margarita and Mexican food at La Laguna Bar & Grill. This restaurant is centrally located and is surrounded by crystal clear waters from the lagoons. We went back many times during our stay as the staff was so nice, the food authentic and the ambiance very relaxing.

For dinners, a great place to try is Las Brisas Restaurant & Lounge Bar, Fairmont Mayakoba’s signature beachfront restaurant. It offers an eclectic global contemporary cuisine menu under the heights of a graceful palapa and views of the Caribbean Sea in an intimate setting.

El Puerto Restaurant, inspired on a former port area, becomes a place for fresh Caribbean lobster, shellfish platters, clams, oysters, white shrimps and daily fisher market delicacies prepared with recipes that will make your dining experience an occasion to remember. It’s located in the main building where the reception and meeting space is located.

The Las Olas & Aqua Pool Bars, serving a whole menu of thirst-quenchers from healthy tropical nectars to frosty margaritas made with premium tequilas, was a huge treat. We sat by the 10,000 sq ft Island Pool, ordered drinks and lunch and enjoyed the afternoon. It just could not get any better!
