Fairmont Hotels & Resorts adding a luxurious resort in Vail for 2011

Just a few days ago, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and HCT Development announced a new luxurious resort project to be completed for the winter of 2011: The Fairmont Vail. This is amazing news for my company and myself as the best skiing in North America is in Vail with great terrain, powder as well as 300 days of sunshine a year!

Majestic Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu

I have a great job! I represent a fabulous 5 star-hotel in the Charlevoix area and I come here for meetings and site visits with clients as often as possible. We drove today from Montreal and it took us the usual 4 hours to get here. The drive is quite scenic from Quebec City to La Malbaie and not long at all if you have driven before from Vancouver to The Wickaninnish Inn near Tofino on Vancouver Island!

St-Alexis-des-Monts and Le Lac à l’Eau Claire

Today was a beautiful and sunny winter day. I went to my hometown where I grew up in La Mauricie. It’s called St-Alexis-des-Monts and is located 90 minutes from Montréal and 45 minutes from Trois-Rivières. It’s a nice small and quiet community where tourism is doing quite well.
