I stayed at the Fairmont hotel in Dallas a few years back and it was excellent. the service was great. the concierge was always very helpful and had great suggestions and the cleaning service always came at just the right time. they werent like some hotels that end up cleaning your room while you are in it. it was like they knew when you would leave because you would leave your room dirty, be gone for just a little, and come back to a clean room. the rooms were very nice too. we had a normal room with 2 doubles connected to a suite. the suite had a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a living room with sleeper sofa, and a dining area. it was overall a very nice hotel and the prices were good for what we got. i dont know how the other fairmonts are but if they are all as good as this one then i would definitely recommend it. This is a gr8 news!

Snow storm during the night and this morning, now it is sunny out but still very 'fresh'. I have not skied the mountain yet but people say it's quite nice out there. But is it 'the best skiing in North America' as you say? That is 'except' Québec skiing right? There is stuff being built as cranes are part of the paysage in the Village.
